Before coaching or attending our 5k as a Running Buddy, you will need to visit a Live Scan office for fingerprinting and a background check. Please print out our LiveScan Form and fill it out to take with you. There are numerous Live Scan offices around the county – here’s a list. Once you have been fingerprinted, scan the signed copy of the form and email it to annie@gotrsd.org or mail the hardcopy to us at

If you have gone through the LiveScan process for another organization, you do need to complete the Live Scan process with our form so that we get the response from the DOJ and you are linked to GOTRSD in their system.  The only way around that is to give us the Live Scan response that the other organization received when you did the check before.  Organizations aren’t allowed to share that information, but they might provide the response to you for you to give it to us.
