I liked their exercises and discussions about healthy food, and the running prepares them for all sports.  It instills in them that being active and fit is fun.  The topics in the curriculum give them confidence, especially as they approach the teenage years.  And running a 5K gives them such a sense of accomplishment.  Plus, the girls loved the coaches! – Bhuvana R.

I was her running buddy in the 5K, and we had such a terrific time, we plan to do other races together. It was great to find something that we enjoy as father and daughter.  – Craig J.

GOTR has been an incredible experience! My daughter learned the basics of running, how to pace herself at her own individual level and how to achieve a goal. My daughter received support and encouragement that she can now show to others. GOTR was a very positive experience. We could not have asked for better role models.    – Kristi I.

[My daughter] joined GOTR in part so she would not be the last one to finish when they ran at school. We, of course, tried to reinforce with [her] that it does not matter how fast you, run just that you are trying and doing it! [She] ran a mile today, after which she literally burst into tears and exclaimed, “This is the best day of my life!” She was not kidding; this is truly how she felt. You were each a part of making yesterday a day she will not forget. [She] took a victory lap after completing her mile.    – Sarah P.

My daughter met great new friends, all while learning about such valuable topics like health, nutrition and self-image. Thank you GOTR for providing such a wonderful environment and opportunity for the girls in our community.    – Janice N.
