Before coaching or attending our 5k as a Running Buddy, you need to follow these steps to complete a background check.

Running Buddies: Please complete this within seven days of registering for the 5K so that we can invite you to meet the girls on your team.  You only need to complete these steps if you are not a parent or parent designated runner of the girl that you are paired with.

  1. Goto https://www.ezycheck.net/gotrvolunteer.
  2. Enter with username ‘gotrsanvol’ and password ‘volunteer’ and click ‘Login’.
  3. Enter the authorization code ‘SanDiegoCoach’ and click ‘Continue’.
  4. Once you have logged into the system, please read the agreement and click ‘I Agree’.
  5. Fill in the appropriate information on the form: all fields in blue and street address.  No other information is required.  When you have finished, click ‘Continue’.
  6. Select ‘GOTR VOLUNTEER PACKAGE- AIM2COPS’ and click ‘Continue’.
  7. Click on ‘Click to Sign Release Form’.  This will allow you to read and review the release form that is required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act of 2002.  Make sure that all of your information is correct and select ‘I Agree’ and click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of
    the page.
  8. You can correct any information in the profile by clicking on the ‘Delete’ button and reentering
    your information.  Or you can cancel your order by clicking ‘Logout’.
  9. If you are ready to place the order, click ‘Place Order’.
  10. A window will pop up asking ‘Are you sure?’ Click ‘Ok’.
  11.  A window will pop up and say “Order is being submitted.  Please be patient’.  NOTE: If you have any pop-up
    blockers turned on, you will either need to turn them off or allow pop-ups from this site.
  12. If submitted correctly, the status of your report should say “Proof”.  Print this page for your confirmation.
